Oral health is so important to our overall health! My guest on this episode is Janice King, founder of NOWsystems, Inc. and Triology, and an oral health advocate.
We talk about how our gums can be a gateway to systemic disease throughout the body, and how to keep them healthy! Our gums are damaged not by poor oral hygiene, but by constant micro-tears by vigorous brushing, flossing, consuming processed foods, and commercial mouthwashes.
Our gums can become chronically inflamed, and harmful bacteria can enter our bodies. This bacteria can contribute to Alzheimer’s disease, cardiovascular disease, rheumatoid arthritis, erectile dysfunction, and more.
After 40, our saliva production decreases, so people can protect their gums with a healthy diet and gentle care. Janice shares her wisdom and some information about her products from Triology Care!
